It might be different than you think.
People tend to think of managing money, dealing with money, earning lots of money as needing plenty of masculine energy. Very yang. Hard, analytical, competitive. Are these traits helpful at times? Yes of course. And is this all that is needed to build true prosperity? Not by a long shot.
I’ve written about whether money is masculine or feminine in the past. I thought it was a subject worth revisiting as I’ve received interest in this topic from around the globe.
Let me be clear, I’m not talking about how men and women approach money (that perhaps is for another time). I’m talking about traits that are more typically thought of as feminine and masculine. These aren’t assigned to a specific gender.
You can have a lot of money and not be prosperous. And you can have limited financial resources and feel wealthy. The dictionary defines prosperity as: a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in financial respects; good fortune.
What do you bring to your money relationship, more masculine or feminine energy? How could you enhance your prosperity by bringing in not only more of what you are great at, but perhaps also a bit of what you tend to avoid?
Money tells me all the time (we chat a lot) that it wants you to be prosperous. To have all that you need and more and to make a positive difference with your resources.
True prosperity comes with a balanced approach. When you honor both the masculine and the feminine, you’ll be much more likely to create prosperity on purpose.
