I listened to Ellen on Art of Allowance. During her Ted talk , she mentioned her son Benji. She asked him what he remembered about what she taught him about money. He said “nothing “ lol! But Just listening to Ellen, thoughout her talk you learn that they definitely learned through their own experiences at a very young age with her way of teaching him financial responsibility. Their allowance and having the money to do and buy the things that they wanted with their own earned money and also being forced to make the decisions based off of what they could afford. Iam grateful of your story and your approach with children. I want to incorporate those ideas in my children’s lives. I’m going to do the prosperity picture but I want know if Ellen or anyone has any other programs to offer for parents to teach their children at an early age. Or programs for families (meaning parent and children involved). We aren’t the most fortunately family (money wise) but we are full of love, strength and integrity but we need the push and the knowledge of financial education . I want my children to know what financial freedom is like. I want to experience financial freedom. I want earn, gain and teach how to reach financial freedom to all children at an early age. Listening to Ellen and the other speakers on Art of Allowance has opened my eyes to the importance of instilling different aspects of financial education into children early in life.
